William-Adolphe Bouguereau

William Adolf Bouguerau was born in La Rochelle, France in 1825. painter. The most important figure in the 19th century academic school in France. He has been trained in the studio of Angel and the studio of Francois Edward Picot, then entered the National Academy of Fine Arts in Paris and went to Rome for further studies.

In 1875 he taught at the Julian Academy of Fine Arts in Paris and in 1888 he became a professor at the National Academy of Fine Arts in Paris. The style is beautiful, and is good at creating a beautiful and idealized realm. Themes are mostly myths, angels and fables.
